This Cookie Policy describes how cookies and similar local storage technologies are used on platonovlab.com (the «Site»). This document supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device and sent to the server automatically with every request. In addition to cookies, the browser provides local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB) that works on a similar principle but is not sent to the server automatically and stays only on the User’s device.
2. The Site uses no cookies
The Site does not set any cookies — neither first-party nor third-party, neither analytics nor advertising. For this reason there is no cookie consent banner on the Site: there is nothing to ask consent for.
3. Local storage (technically necessary)
The Site uses the browser’s local storage solely to operate the interface. This data is stored only on your device, is not sent to the server and is not used for tracking. No User consent is required.
- theme (localStorage) — selected theme (light or dark). Stored until cleared via browser settings.
- kitchen-session (localStorage / IndexedDB) — data of the «kitchen mode»: step progress, checkmarks, the chosen start time and baking schedule. Used only locally and required for the working sheet to function on a tablet, including offline.
- Service Worker cache — cache of the Site’s static assets for offline access to previously opened pages and recipes.
4. Traffic statistics (no cookies, no personal data)
To count traffic, the Site uses an anonymous page-view counter. It sets no cookies, uses no visitor identifiers and stores only an aggregate page-view number (e.g. «this page was opened 512 times»). Such a number does not relate to any specific person and is not personal data. The request to the counter is sent without the source page address (referrer).

5. Advertising and marketing
The Site does not use advertising or marketing cookies, does not display ads and does not share data with advertising networks.
6. Managing local storage
Since no cookies are used, no consent is required. Local storage can be cleared at any time via browser settings. Instructions for popular browsers:
Please note: clearing local storage may reset some features of the Site (for example, the chosen theme or progress in the kitchen mode will not be remembered).

The Operator reserves the right to make changes to this Cookie Policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
