Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (the «Policy») describes how information about visitors of platonovlab.com (the «Site») is collected, used and protected. The Policy is prepared in accordance with the Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ «On Personal Data» dated 27 July 2006 (the «152-FZ»), as the Site operates within the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation.
1. Data Operator
The operator processing personal data is the owner and author of the Site — Dmitry Platonov, an individual (the «Operator»).
Contact email for all data-related inquiries: dsplatonov@mail.ru.
2. Definitions
- Personal data — any information relating directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject).
- Processing — any operation performed on personal data, with or without automated means.
- User — visitor of the Site.
- Anonymised data — data from which a specific User cannot be identified (for example, an aggregate page-view count).
3. Processing Principles
The Operator processes personal data according to the following principles:
- lawfulness and fairness;
- limitation of processing to specific, pre-defined and legitimate purposes;
- non-use of personal data in a manner incompatible with the purposes of collection;
- relevance and proportionality of the data processed to the declared purposes;
- accuracy, sufficiency and timeliness of the data;
- storage in a form that permits identification of the data subject for no longer than is necessary.
4. Data Processed
The Site has no registration forms, no user accounts and does not request contact details from Users. The Operator does not collect names, phone numbers, addresses or other identifying information. The Site sets no cookies and uses no visitor identifiers.
Processing is limited to two sources:
- Server logs of the hosting provider. The web server automatically records technical data of each request: IP address, browser information (User-Agent), referrer, requested pages and time of access. This data is technical, used in anonymised form and does not allow identification of a specific User without additional information that the Operator does not possess.
- Anonymous page-view counter. To count views, the Site uses an external counter that sets no cookies, uses no visitor identifiers and stores only an aggregate page-view number. It collects and stores no personal data.
5. Purposes of Processing
The Operator processes data solely for the following purposes:
- analysis of Site traffic in anonymised form;
- improvement of the Site’s content, structure and usability;
- detection and resolution of technical issues;
- protection of the Site from automated attacks and abuse.
The Operator does not use data for advertising targeting, profiling of individual Users or transfer to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Legal Basis
Technical data is processed on the basis of the Operator’s legitimate interests in maintaining the Site’s operability and security and in obtaining anonymised traffic statistics. Since the Site sets no cookies and collects no personal data in identifiable form, consent via a cookie banner is not requested.
7. Third Parties
To count traffic the Operator uses an external anonymous page-view counter. Only the fact that a page was opened is sent to it; it receives no cookies or identifiers and stores solely an aggregate page-view number. No personal data of Users is transferred to or stored by the counter.
The Site is hosted by a provider located within the Russian Federation, which processes server logs as part of providing the service (see Section 4).
Personal data is not transferred to any other third parties, except in cases directly provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation (for example, upon request by authorised state authorities).
8. Cookies
The Site uses no cookies. Only technically necessary browser local storage is used (theme, kitchen mode). Details are provided in a separate document — the Cookie Policy.
9. Retention Periods
- Server logs are stored on the hosting infrastructure for a limited period (typically no more than 30 days) and are deleted automatically.
- The aggregate page-view number in the counter is anonymised statistics and is not personal data.
- Local storage (theme, kitchen mode) resides on the User’s device and is removed via browser tools.
10. Security Measures
The Operator takes the necessary legal, organisational and technical measures to protect data:
- data transmission over the secure HTTPS protocol (TLS);
- restricted access to server infrastructure;
- use of a trusted hosting provider located in the Russian Federation;
- regular updates of the Site’s software stack.
The Site is hosted within the territory of the Russian Federation (Timeweb Cloud, St. Petersburg).
11. Rights of the Data Subject
The User has the right to:
- receive information about the processing of their personal data;
- request correction, blocking or erasure of data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or unlawfully obtained;
- file a complaint with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) or with a court to protect their rights.
12. Requests by the Data Subject
Since the Site collects no personal data in identifiable form and sets no cookies, no separate consent is requested and none needs to be withdrawn. For any matters related to data processing, the User may send a request by email to dsplatonov@mail.ru; the Operator will process it within 30 days.
13. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Server logs and the Site’s hosting are processed and stored on servers located within the Russian Federation.
The anonymous page-view counter is located outside the Russian Federation. When it is accessed for technical purposes, the request’s IP address is processed briefly; the counter’s operator states that IP addresses are not stored and only an aggregate page-view number is kept. Logging on the side of this third-party service is outside the Site operator’s control. The Site operator does not transfer Users’ personal data abroad.
14. Minors
The Site is not intended for use by persons under 14 years of age. The Operator does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If it comes to the Operator’s knowledge that personal data of a minor has been collected without consent from their legal representatives, such data will be deleted as soon as possible.
15. Changes to this Policy
The Operator reserves the right to make changes to this Policy. The new version takes effect upon publication on the Site, unless otherwise specified in the new version. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
16. Contact Information
For all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights granted by 152-FZ, the User can contact the Operator by email: dsplatonov@mail.ru.
Complaints regarding the processing of personal data may also be submitted to the authorised body for the protection of data subjects’ rights — the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor): rkn.gov.ru/eng/.
